International Organizations
The CIAE has strengthened its cooperative R&D technology transfer activities with Asian, African, European and American countries. Agricultural Engineers from Asian and African countries regularly avail training at the Institute. The Regional Network for Agricultural Engineering and Machinery (RNAEM-ESCAP), UNIDO, FAO, USAID, IDRC, SAREC, CIRAD, IRRI and AIT have been catalysts in promoting the technology transfer through exchange of of prototypes, training and study tours.
National Organizations
The CIAE coordinates its research and development activities through Agricultural Universities, other ICAR Institutes, All India Coordinated Research Projects and State Agro-Industrial Development Corporations and small scale farm farm machinery manufacturing industries for commercial exploitation of technology

Technologies developed at the Institute is extensively tried on
farmer's field through the Network of research Centres
prior to understanding pilot introduction and commercialization.
